We also proudly support several local non-profit organizations such as Justice Matters (justicemattersnc.org), a Durham, NC based company that provides free legal services through volunteer attorneys to individuals affected by human trafficking.
Jim Anderson is the President of Caseworks Litigation Services. He has managed the operations of the Company since 2015. Over the course of his career, Jim has worked closely with companies and their management teams in strategic, financial, and investing roles. Most recently, he was a strategic and corporate development advisor for Corporate Executive Board (NYSE: CEB), a company that consults over 85% of the Fortune 500. Before that, Jim was with Trinity Capital LLC, a lower middle market investment bank focused on the restaurant, food, and energy sectors. Jim started his career at JPMorgan in their asset management group.
Jim earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in finance and accounting from Master’s University. He played college golf and competed in two national championships. Jim is kept busy chasing around his two energetic daughters, Peyton and Charlotte. Jim enjoys getting involved at his local church, playing golf, biking, reading, and fishing.
Laura Anderson is the VP of Finance at Caseworks Litigation Services. She has managed the financial operations of the Company since 2015. Prior to CaseWorks, Laura worked at JPMorgan in global real estate investment management and private wealth management. While working with the real estate group, Laura and her team oversaw a $1.2 billion portfolio of assets. She has enjoyed transferring her financial management skills to the litigation services industry.
Laura earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BBA/BA in Finance and Psychology from The College of William & Mary, Summa Cum Laude. Laura loves living in Durham, NC along with Jim and their two young daughters. Laura enjoys spending time with her family, doing yoga, traveling, and running. She has completed five marathons on five different continents and hopes to conquer the last two continents in the near future.
Linda Russell is the Founder of CaseWorks. Linda was schooled and licensed in California as a Certified Shorthand Reporter in 1983 and at the national level as a Registered Professional Reporter. After moving to Winston-Salem, Linda began her North Carolina career in 1987 as a contract reporter for the State of NC. She soon realized the need for freelance shorthand reporters at which time she founded Russell Court Reporting (later renamed “CaseWorks”), the first computerized stenotype court reporting firm in the Piedmont Triad. Linda’s professional passion has always been to stay at the forefront of litigation technology. Her leadership has allowed CaseWorks to provide clients with the most state-of-the-art reporting services available.
While building CaseWorks, Linda raised her two boys who today are a Naval Officer in the U.S. Navy and a Mechanical Engineer at Boeing. Linda enjoys traveling with and being married to her high school sweetheart, scuba diving, doing yoga and Pilates, and cooking.
